Privacy Policy

Game data stays in your browser

We do not require an account. Daily moves, an unfinished word and the daily streak are stored in your browser's localStorage under poople-archive-progress-v1. They are not uploaded to us or shared with the official game. Progress from another date is not restored. Practice and Solver inputs remain in memory while their page is open.

Reset clears the current round while keeping the streak. To remove all progress and streaks, use your browser's site-data settings to delete data for pooplearchive.com. Blocking site storage lets you play for the current session without saving. LocalStorage is separate from cookies.

Hosting and analytics

Cloudflare hosts the site and handles page requests, including technical connection information needed to deliver and protect the service. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate page views, visits, referrers, countries and performance. Its analytics beacon makes network requests, but game moves and Solver inputs are not included by our game code. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use analytics cookies or browser fingerprinting.

See Cloudflare Web Analytics and Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. You can use browser content-blocking controls to block its analytics beacon. This site currently does not load Google Analytics.

Cookies and advertising

We currently do not set application cookies or load third-party advertisements, including Google AdSense. Empty advertising spaces do not load an advertising script.

If we introduce AdSense, Google and other advertising vendors may use cookies based on visits to this and other sites. We will update this policy and implement the required consent choices before enabling advertising. Where required, a Google-certified consent platform will provide choices for advertising cookies and analytics.

You can manage Google's personalized advertising through My Ad Center and review how Google uses advertising data. Browser settings can also block or delete cookies. These links describe future advertising choices; AdSense is not active here today.

When you email us

Messages sent to contact@pooplearchive.com are forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing to the site's operator. We receive your email address and whatever you include so we can answer your request. Do not send sensitive information. To ask about or request deletion of correspondence, email contact@pooplearchive.com. We cannot retrieve game progress stored only on your device.

Your choices and updates

You may stop using the site, block storage or analytics, and clear browser data at any time. For questions about this policy, contact us. Our Terms of Service describe permitted site use. Changes to our data practices will be reflected on this page.
